Who we are
meet your team
We’re a dedicated team of professionals, bringing our experience, expertise, and 100 per cent commitment to every project.
Company founder Trish Mullen brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in the executive search industry to bear on every project. She realized that she had found her calling when she began working in the public interest search space. Today, what drives Trish in her personal life also drives her professionally—impact and meaning.
With the exception of a few years spent in Saskatchewan, Trish is a life-long Albertan and is proud of the connections she’s made and the understanding she brings to engagements in this province.
Trish enjoys travelling, hanging out with her kids and dog, and volunteering with community organizations such as Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers and the Edmonton Humane Society.
Julia got started in executive recruitment as a summer student, and she’s been hooked ever since. She worked part-time with Mullen while finishing her degree in International Relations and Statistics, and now is pleased to join the team full-time. She is passionate about the work that Mullen undertakes, and looks forward to partnering with you.
Aidan is a Research Consultant for Mullen Leadership Recruitment. He is a recent graduate from the University of Alberta, holding a BSc majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychology.

He is passionate about the work that Mullen Leadership Recruitment undertakes, and looks forward to partnering with you.
In his free time, Aidan enjoys travelling, sports and volunteering with organizations like Canadian Adaptive Snowsports.

John has been instrumental in building and executing Leave No Trace's strategic plan for 2024, driving donor and corporate partnership support, and leading recruitment efforts to expand the board. Tully
Chief Morale Officer
Tully is an extremely lovable and pathologically friendly Australian Labradoodle who enjoys spending time at the office with her people. This bundle of energy and joy is passionate about many things, but if we were to list them in order, they would be—food, people, food, other dogs, food, chin scratches, and donations made to the Edmonton Humane Society. Even her dog trainer (who has met a lot of dogs in their time) says that she is the hungriest dog they have ever seen. So when you drop by the office, be sure to give her a good chin scratch and maybe even a treat. She would love that.
